Not enough nurses

With the ageing population on the rise and an alarming shortage of health workers, Australia faces a severe crisis in the health department. By 20-20 ninety thousand nurses would have retired and not as many would have replaced them.

The situation is perhaps worst in South Australia where apart from being the lowest paid…. figures indicate that currently the state is short by about 500 nurses.  With lower numbers getting into the profession option of importing these skills from overseas is slowly becoming inevitable.
